BP Log: Easy Blood Pressure
Moonsail Software LLC
Last updated: April 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BP Log: Easy Blood Pressure ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. We take your privacy seriously, especially given that the App handles health-related data.
Important: This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It is intended for personal tracking purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decisions.
1. Information We Collect
Health Data (stored locally on your device only)
The App allows you to log blood pressure readings, including systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse rate, timestamps, and optional notes. This data is stored exclusively on your device using an on-device database. It is never transmitted to our servers or any third party by the App.
App Preferences
The App stores preferences locally on your device, such as your chosen BP standard, reminder settings, and whether you have purchased the "Remove Ads" upgrade. This data never leaves your device.
Analytics Data
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as screen views, feature interactions, and crash reports. Firebase may collect device identifiers, IP address, and general device information. This data is used to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This collection is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Advertising Identifiers (ad-supported version only)
If you use the free, ad-supported version of the App, Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), IP address, and other device information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This collection is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Purchase Information
If you purchase the "Remove Ads" upgrade, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We receive only confirmation that the purchase was made. We do not receive or store your payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your blood pressure readings and preferences are used solely to provide the App's features — displaying your history, calculating trends, and sending local reminders you configure. We do not access, analyze, or transmit this data.
Advertising identifiers collected by AdMob are used to serve ads within the app. Purchasing the "Remove Ads" upgrade disables all ads and stops AdMob data collection within the App.
3. Data Export
The App provides a CSV export feature. When you use it, your data is written to a file on your device and shared using Android's standard share mechanism. We have no visibility into where you send that file. The export is entirely user-initiated and user-controlled.
4. Third-Party Services
Google Firebase Analytics — collects anonymized usage and crash data to help us improve the App. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Google AdMob — serves ads in the free version of the App and may collect device identifiers and usage data. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
5. Data Retention and Deletion
All health data and preferences are stored on your device and remain under your control. You can delete individual readings within the App or uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data. We have no copy of your data and cannot delete it on your behalf.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
7. Your Rights
Because all health data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. For data collected by third-party services such as Google AdMob, you can manage your ad preferences through your Android device settings under Google → Ads.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA. To the extent any personal data is held by us (which is limited to purchase confirmation), you may contact us to exercise those rights.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
