Frequently Asked Questions

What blood pressure classifications does the app use?

BP Log uses AHA/JNC7 guidelines: Normal, Elevated, Hypertension Stage 1, Hypertension Stage 2, and Hypertensive Crisis. Each reading is labeled automatically.

Is my data stored locally?

Yes. All readings are saved on-device only. The app has no network connection and your health data never leaves your phone.

Can I export my readings?

Yes. You can export your full history to a CSV file at any time from the Settings screen and share it however you like.

Is this a medical device?

No. BP Log is a personal logging tool, not a medical device or diagnostic aid. Always consult a healthcare professional about your blood pressure.
